AKRON: Akron plans to spend about $3.5 million to upgrade the security of its water-treatment facilities. The city will contract with Innovative Communications Solutions (ICS), an Israeli company in Akron's Global Business Accelerator, to provide the upgrades. ICS will subcontract with Whitewater Security of Tel Aviv, which will provide the software.
